This poses a significant environmental burden, as cheap thermal paper is toxic and requires costly disposal. No App Required ...
The QR codes used to generate receipts can be easily scanned at the checkout using your smartphone camera or any QR code scanner app. After scanning, you will be redirected to your receipt and can, for example, manually save it to your phone. This allows you to access it again at a later time.
GDPR compliant ...
When you shop at a POS system using our software in the background, we guarantee that no personal data is transmitted to us. If you pay by debit or credit card, either a printed receipt will be issued as usual, or our software will mask any personal data before transmission. The same applies if you use a loyalty card and the POS operator has not configured their system otherwise via their POS provider. In such cases, it is the operator’s responsibility to ensure that only non-personalized loyalty cards are used.
